         We are learning about Christmas traditions around the world. Today I learned that the France children leave their shoes in front of the fire place on Christmas Eve. France tradition says it is the Christ child who really fills the little shoes with gift.

I also Learned that Italian people eat and drink very little on Christmas day because this is a special day of prayer

!Don´t Let The Pigeon Stay Up Late!

                                                           !Don´t let the pigeon stay up late!

WALT write an opinion about a story. We had to chose out of four storyś. One was dont let the pigeon drive the bus, dont let the pigeon stay up late, should the pigeon have  a bath and dont let the pigeon have a walrus.  I chose dont let the pigeon stay up late and why because its just like me wanting to stay up late.

This week we have been writing a story about alarm call. Alarm call is that we have a monster and a kitten and we had to draw a picture  of what would happen next. Then write a story about the next thing that we thought was going to happen next. We only had a week to do this thought it was easy but I don't know if it was hard or easy for the people in my class. I would love to do these kind of activity's more often.

MMMMMM is that a marshmallow? Because i’m hungry. Oops it's just a little kitten that looks like a marshmallow.

Now let me think how can i get this little,tiny,cute, miniature  kitten into my green,ugly,long hands. Oh I know i can just creep up on it.

Hahaha little does this  monster know that i am a wake because i am the non sleeping cat and also a prankster  well i do sleep but i can camouflage into place’s…..

So this ugly looking thing is in my house. Okay okay i know what you're thinking i am going to prank him. For the prank i am going to put a cat on  my favourite pillow and then once he finds out that it is fake i am going to jump on him and scare him because….

I WANT HIM OUT OF MY HOUSE.  I don’t want him in my house because it smell’s  i think he should have a bath. Now it’s time to get started with the prank.

HAHA i am going to get this cat not i love this pillow i want to eat it so badly. Okay Okay that  did not just happend it just kicked the  cat off the pillow and ate my favourite pillow. My life is doomed.

Today was the last day of our learning journey and it was sad to finish this lovely trip but it is time to move on.  The most changeling thing was making the screen castify or video because I had to keep restarting because I didn't know what to say for some of the questions and I keeped on saying the wrong's word's like the word's I was trying to say I said something else.  The four question's were, What have you learnt? , What did you like about the trip? , What didn't you like? and Was there anything that surprised you?

Day 6 Native Aotearoa

Day 3 Wild Eye´s

In day 3 in this great went we have now moved on from New Zealand land by sea. We are now on wild eye's. For wild eye's we had to find an animal on  This site and pick an animal and did some research  about it.  The next activity was do you agree on we catch the predators or leave them alone? Write 3 reason´s why.

Weather Art

This term we have been learning about weather. In art I created a stormy night picture. First I dyed my  paper. The colors were dark blue middle blue and then light blue. We had to kind of blend the colors together. Then we got a black paper and we made a silhouette we could do what ever we wanted to. Next we glued it on with pva glue and then we had to hold it down for a few seconds. The last and final thing to do was to make the big black storm clouds and then put the lighting with white paint.

About Antarctica

              For a couple of weeks now we went to the Antarctica center and now we are studying on Antarctica animals. The progress was hard and easy. We are now moving on to weather and kind of climate. Here is my work.

This week and last week we were learning about insect. Last week we did an insect report about stick insects. This week we got to chose an insect. So I picked a lycaenidae butterfly they are really pretty.

Anzac Activitys

For the last two weeks we have been learning about ANZAC day and why we remember the people we have risked their lives for our freedom and our way of life.
 For one of our task we had to make a poem about why we remember them. The next task was we had to make a ANZAC necklaces. Also we had to make a small story by getting key words with out story called the button.

Poem time

Today at reading we have to write a poem about travelling to Rio and we competed in the Olympics.
Olympics is when you go to different countries in the world and compete in a sport or your favourite sport and you compete against other countries and u can get a gold medal a silver medal and a bronze medal. I don`t think this is my best poem but latest I tried my best.

I would feel a bit scared happy and excited at the same old time. Going to play in the women`s under sevens ruby team. Travelling to Rio is a thing for not just me but for other people in the world to.

What is Shooting?

Shooting is when you vs other players of the world and you have to shoot these red things that u shoot to get goals.  If u go to shoot the red thing and you  miss you don't get a  goal for your team.

Why u should watch it.

Shooting is a true test of accuracy and demands intellectual and psychological skill rather than physical strength, with competitions won and lost  by a matter of millimetres.

Vinicius and Tom

      In this video Vinicius and tom made a tree house to sleep in but the only thing is that Vinicius        and Tom could no sleep in the tree house in their bed so they both did the same thing and                walked out side and Vinicius stretched his  leg to the breach and Tom walk on the a little lily            pad and then got on a big lily pad and then they both fell asleep.

Is This A Fair Rule

During the ancient Olympic Games, men were allowed to compete in the events but women were not. In fact, women were often forbidden from even watching the games.

Do I think this is not a fair rule: I think this is not a fair rule because men and woman should be able to compete in the Olympic but back then only men could compete in the Olympics but now men and woman can compete in the Olympics now and I think that it is fair now that the woman can compete in the Olympics now so is my opinion.
