What is our greatest threat in thousands of years?
Answer: Climate Change
How do we see climate change affecting the globe?
Answer: Flooding, Crazy storms, Extreme heat, and higher sea levels.
What is needed to change history?
Answer: For people to stop polluting the atmosphere with fires, fuels, and other pollutants and for us to urgently act.
Is climate change a man-made disaster?
Answer Yes because of using so many fossil fuels.
Dramatic actions must be made in the next ________ years to change it
Answer: In the next 10 years
Why is our climate changing?
Answer: Because of the overusing fossil fuels.
What is causing the warming trend of climate change?
Answer: By burning too many fuels which increases the heat.
What is the main problem?
Answer: In heat increasing.
What are examples of these?
Animals/Creatures die and their habitats are getting destroyed.
Burning fossil fuels releases what gas?
Answer: Carbon dioxide
How much hotter is our world?
Answer: 1degc warmer overall
What do we call global warming?
Answer: Climate change
How is this affecting our Animals/Creatures like bats?
Answer: The die in the heat
What percentage of species are near extinction?
Answer: It is 8%
How could this affect the world's ecosystems?
Answer: Food chains would die off... People and animals could starve.
What global change was seen and recording breaking last year?
Answer: Fires burning out of control
How is climate change affecting our weather systems?
Answer: Creating more severe storms and increasing our heat.
What is another effect of climate change?
Answer: Sea levels rise
What will happen if the ice melts in Antarctica and the Arctic?
Answer: Sea levels will rise
How does this affect people?
Answer: People living by the sea will lose their property and they will have to relocate.
What other things affect the oceans change?
Answer: Oil spills, plastic pollution, rubbish pollution.
What does too much heat do to the coral?
Answer: It causes it to die off.
Why did some industries not want to stop burning fossil fuels?
Answer: Because they make lots of money from it.
INVESTIGATION
Investigate the different fossil fuels listed
1. Coal- Coal is a hard rock that can be burned as a solid fossil fuel its mostly carbon but also contains hydrogen, sulfur, oxygen, and nitrogen. Its a sedimentary rock formed from peat, by the pressure of rocks laid down later on top.
2.Oil- An oil is any nonpolar chemical substance that is a viscous liquid at ambient temperatures and is both hydrophobic and lipophilic. Oil has a high carbon and hydrogen content and is usually flammable and surface active.
There are three types of fossil fuels which can all be used for energy provision, coal, oil, and natural gas. Coal is a solid fossil fuel formed over millions of years by decaying of land vegetation.
Coal and oil aren't used for the same thing ( power generation VS transport fuel) Basis oil are cleaner 1 oil is used in a refined form as gasoline diesel, kerosene extra.
Write a paragraph about 4 renewable energies
Solar
Solar energy has the ability to work. Solar is a Latin word for the sun, so we can define solar energy as energy obtained from the sun. We can put this energy to work for us in many ways from heating water and living spaces within our homes to generate electrical energy.
Wind
The increased cooling wind can cause the wind blowing over you and your skin removes body heat. The stronger the wind, the colder you feel, 11 local winds. Local winds are the winds that blow over short distances. They are caused by the unequal heating of earth surface within a small area.
Hydro
Uses of hydropower energy like wind energy and hydropower. Energy is mostly used for electricity generation and accounts for almost 20% of the total global electricity production, Another major but mostly unknown use of hydropower is for storing energy.
Waves
Waves power is obtained by harnessing by the energy produced by waves at sea.

Write a reflection about what I have learnt about climate change and hpw it is going to affect our world.
In climate change I have learnt that the word solar means the sun in Latin and I have also learnt that our world is changing really fast and really badly.
How is climate change going to affect our world?
It is going to affect our world by our ice melting and making our sea levels rise aswell as our island disaparing and also our Ozone could break and we could be cook alive.9
